For the second year Veronafiere, in collaboration with ICE Addis Abeba, organizes a trade mission to East Africa for companies of the building/construction/infrastructure sectors.
The event consists of two stages: an intense day of B2B meetings with local partners in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia will be followed by four days of B2B meetings with professional operators (distributors/buyers/potential partners) and field visits to companies, institutions and/or local authorities in Nairobi, Kenya.

WHY ETHIOPIA

Ethiopia is one of the most attractive emerging markets in sub-Saharan Africa, both because of its hub position in relation to East Africa and for several indicators: 90 million inhabitants, a GDP growth of + 10.5% per annum, numerous Government investment in projects and infrastructure.

 

WHY KENYA

In 2017, the building market in Kenya should grow by 8.7% (BMI Research data) and continue steadily until 2026 with an average annual growth rate of 6.2%. Nairobi Government has announced new infrastructure projects (including standard gauge railway and Lamu port), which will improve the country's logistical profile by supporting its economic development, while at the same time promoting business and commercial activities at national and regional level.
